Description

Prospect Cottage is a pair of cottages that have been combined, dating from the early 18th century and altered in the 20th century. The building is timber framed and plastered, with a thatched roof. It features four bays facing south, a central stack, and an external stack at the left end. There are single-storey lean-to extensions at the rear and beyond. The cottage is one storey high with attics, and it has four 20th-century casement windows, along with three additional windows in slated swept dormers. The entrance includes two 19th-century half-glazed doors with shallow hoods. Inside, the cottage has chamfered axial beams with lamb's tongue stops.
