Description

Vine Cottage is a pair of cottages from the early 19th century that have been combined into one. The building is timber framed, plastered, and features a thatched roof. It has four bays facing south, with a central chimney stack that creates a lobby entrance. There is a small 20th-century lean-to extension at the rear. The cottage is one storey with attics and includes one 19th-century casement window, along with two additional casements in swept dormers. The front door is plain and boarded. Inside, you can see some exposed framing, primary straight bracing, axial beams, and exposed joists.
