Description

Grove Cottage is a pair of cottages from the early 19th century that have been combined. The structure is timber framed, roughcast rendered, and features a weatherboarded dado, with a roof made of 19th-century red clay tiles. The cottages are aligned approximately northwest to southeast and have a southwest aspect, with a central chimney stack and one chimney at each end. There are lean-to extensions at both ends of the building. The cottages are single storey with attics, featuring a plain boarded door, four 19th-century casement windows, and four gabled dormers that have 20th-century louvre windows.
