Description

This is an open barn dating from the 19th century, located to the southeast of Hill Farmhouse. It is constructed from gault brick and features a hipped roof covered with red pantiles. The front of the barn is open and supported by four moulded cast iron columns. The roof structure consists of fully trenched Queen posts with a central King Post at each tie beam, and the barn has five bays. In the right bay, there is a weatherboarded farm office that includes a round-headed fanlight and glazing bars on the central door, above which is a chevron-patterned timber vent for the roof light.
