Description
The Smithy is an 18th-century house that has been altered in the 20th century. It is timber framed and plastered, with a roof made of handmade red clay tiles. The building has four bays facing southeast and features an axial stack located in the second bay from the right end. At the rear, there is an extension that forms a T-plan, along with single-storey lean-to extensions in each rear angle, which complete a rectangular layout. The house is one storey high with attics and includes four 20th-century casement windows, as well as two additional casements in gabled dormers. The entrance has a 20th-century door, and the roof is gambrel with half-hipped ends.
