Description

This 18th-century barn, located west of the house in Silchester, features a five-bay timber frame with aisles on the west and south sides. There is an additional bay added later at the north end. The barn has straight struts supporting the truss and is topped with corrugated asbestos roofing, which is hipped at the north end and tiled. The walls are weather-boarded.
