Description

This 18th-century barn is located 20 yards northeast of the house. It is a timber-framed structure consisting of six bays, featuring aisles on the sides and at the west end, except for the two eastern bays on the north side. There are entrances located at the second and fifth bays. The roof is made of corrugated asbestos with tiles covering the south aisle and slates above the north and west aisles, as well as the north entrance. The entrances are topped with hipped roofs, which on the south side are cantilevered on struts. The barn has red brick walls, although some sections are older and weather-boarded.
