Description

Poors Farmhouse is a house dating back to the 17th century, with later work from the late 18th century. It is a two-storeyed timber-framed building, with additions to the north. The roof is covered in old tiles, with a central stack. The timber frame is visible on the north-west and south-east gables, and the walls are filled with red brick. The front (south-west) elevation has a symmetrical arrangement of two windows, constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern. A blue brick band runs along the first floor, and the ground-floor openings are arched. Casement windows are fitted. A plain door is set within a porch with a roof of tiles, supported by coupled posts.
