12/61 Parish pump, 25m east of - The Market Cross

Pump, late C18 or early C19. About 3 metres high, the shaft encased in wood. Square plan, with on each side 2 sunk panels, the upper one arched with a pediment above in the Gothick manner. Moulded wooden cap clad in lead; fixed to the top is a C19 cast iron lamp standard. Iron handle and spout, with C20 concrete trough.
