Description

The village pump, located on the pavement at the southeast corner of the garden of Number 1, dates from the early 19th century. It features a tall, octagonal timber casing set on a square base, topped with a moulded bulbous domed head. The pump includes a moulded lead plaque and spout, adorned with floral and fleur-de-lys motifs. It is supported by iron straps, which also include a hook for a bucket. The pump is situated within a fenced enclosure, which has two iron support straps attached to it.
