Description
Bowbeck House is a farmhouse dating from the 18th century and mid 19th century. It is two storeys tall and features a U-shaped front range that is timber-framed and plastered, with rusticated quoins and surrounds around the upper windows. The roof is covered with black glazed pantiles. The front has three windows, which are small-paned sashes set in flush frames; notably, the central window on the upper storey is one pane narrower than the outer windows. There is a central door that is sheltered by an open tented Regency porch. The rear ranges, added in the mid 19th century, are constructed from red brick and flint.
