Description

Minden House, formerly known as Johnny's Farmhouse, is an early 17th-century building located in Bardwell. It features a timber-framed structure with plastering and a pantiled roof. The house has an internal chimney stack with four detached octagonal shafts and is arranged over two storeys with attics, following a two-cell lobby entrance plan. The windows include two-light and three-light casements. There is a large lean-to extension on the north side, which is one and a half storeys high, rendered, and also has a pantiled roof. This extension includes two dormer windows with long, gabled roofs.
