Description

Street Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century, with a core that may be from the 17th century or earlier. It features a timber-framed and plastered structure with a modillioned eaves cornice. The left gable is from the 18th century and constructed of flint rubble with red brick quoins. The roof is covered with plain tiles and has an external end chimney made of 18th-century red brick on the left, along with another chimney at the rear that has a rebuilt 20th-century shaft. The building has two storeys and attics, with three windows in total. The ground storey has early 19th-century small-pane sash windows, while the first storey features small-paned windows installed in 1986. The entrance door, which is a six-panel design from the late 18th or early 19th century, has fielded panels, a shouldered architrave, and a triangular pediment. To the right is a lower service range from the 19th century, made of plastered brick and also with a plain tiled roof. The interior has not been examined.
