Description
Drinkstone Lodge is a house from the early 19th century, with an earlier core. The front range is made of gault brick, likely covering timber-framing, and features a plaintiled roof with gabled casement dormers. There are two 19th-century chimneys made of gault brick. The building has two storeys and attics, with three windows. The early 19th-century windows have flat arches made of gauged brick and consist of small-pane sashes with flush frames. The entrance door has six panels and is sheltered by a portico porch supported by Tuscan columns and topped with a flat entablature. On both sides of the building, there are early 19th-century flat-roofed bays that are two storeys high and contain sashes. At the rear, there is a small service wing that is timber-framed and plastered.
