Description
Nos. 3 and 5 Church Green are two dwellings that were originally one house, dating from the mid or late 16th century. The building has two storeys and was originally designed with a three-cell plan. It features timber framing that is plastered, and has a plaintiled roof with axial chimneys made of red brick. The windows include various small-pane casements and a sash window, primarily from the 19th century. There is a 20th-century flush entrance door for No. 5, while No. 3 has a rear entrance. Inside, there is good unmoulded timber-framing visible, along with evidence of unglazed shuttered windows.
