Description

Daisy Cottage is a 17th-century house located at Bramford Church Green. It has two storeys and a two-cell lobby-entrance plan. The building is timber-framed and plastered, topped with a plaintiled roof that features an axial chimney made of plastered red brick. The windows are mainly 20th-century metal casements with leaded lights. There is a rear two-storey extension dating from around 1980, which includes a boarded entrance door and an open plaintiled porch supported by posts. Inside, the timber framing is fully exposed, and the bridging joist above the parlour is ovolo moulded. A partition that has since been removed may have separated a service room to the right of the hall.
