Description
2 and 4 Needham Road are two houses that have been converted into a shop and two houses. They date from the early 17th century and are built with a timber frame on a brick base, finished with roughcast and colourwash. The roof is covered with plain tiles and the building has two storeys. The doors and windows are from the late 20th century. Number 2 features a late 20th-century glazed shopfront and a three-light casement window to the right. Number 4 has a door and a three-light casement window on the right side. There are three late 20th-century casement windows on the first floor. The gabled roof has a ridge stack located left of centre and an external gable-end stack on the west side. Both gable heads have wave-moulded jetty bressummers supported by carved brackets.
