Description
Doggetts Farmhouse Garden Cottage is a former farmhouse that has been converted into two cottages. It dates from the late 16th century to early 17th century and features a three-cell main range with a lower 18th-century addition on the right. The building is timber framed and plastered, with a thatched roof on the main section and a pantiled roof on the addition. It is two storeys high and has various casement windows, primarily from the 18th and 19th centuries. The ground floor window of Garden Cottage has square-leaded panes, while Doggetts Farmhouse has two 20th-century ground floor windows. There are two doorways with 19th-century panelled doors, which are partly glazed, and simple gabled porches. The main range has an internal stack, and the 18th-century addition has a gable stack. The interiors have not been examined.
