Description

The Old Farmhouse is a former farmhouse that was originally two cottages, dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century. It features a timber frame that is partly plastered, with red brick casing on the left gable end and at the rear. The building has a pantiled roof and stands two storeys high with an attic, arranged in a three-cell form. There are three windows, which are mid 20th-century casements. The right-hand cottage has a plank door, while the left-hand cottage has a mid 20th-century door in a later addition. Inside, there is a heavy internal stack and a small 19th-century stack positioned forward of the roof ridge on the right side.
