Description

The gateway piers and railings at Red House, located on Mendham Road, date from the late 18th century or early 19th century. At each end of the entrance, there are two pairs of square brick gate piers topped with stone copings and spheres. The gateway features paired wrought iron gates, and between the gates, there are wrought iron spearhead railings set on a low brick plinth. This structure is included for its group value.
