Description
The Red House features boundary railings and a wall that date from around 1800. The double frontage consists of cast iron railings set on a cemented base. These railings include heavier posts at regular intervals, which have a central baluster profile and urn finials, while other posts are spiked. The railings curve inward at the center to frame the doorcase, and there is a single gate near the southern end. Along Waterend Lane, the boundary returns for one bay and continues for another 10 meters as a red brick wall, which includes a plinth, a terminal pier, and two flat buttresses.
