Description

Priory Cottage is a house located on Woolpit Green Road, likely dating from the early 17th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. The building has one storey and attics, featuring three windows. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a double Roman pantiled roof that was originally thatched. There is one 19th-century gabled casement dormer, and the right-hand gable foot has curved knees. A red brick axial chimney from the 17th century is present, along with 19th-century three-light casements. The entrance door, which is boarded, dates from the 20th century and is sheltered by an open gabled porch.
