Description
Mill Farmhouse is a former farmhouse, likely dating from the 17th century or earlier. The building has one storey and attics, featuring six windows. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, with an area of weatherboarded walling from the 18th or 19th century on the right side. The roof is pantiled, with most tiles glazed, and it was originally thatched. There are 18th-century external end chimneys made of red brick, one located beside Mill Lane and the other internal, following an 18th or 19th-century extension to the right. The farmhouse has four 19th-century dormers with casements; one is gabled and has a plaintile roof, while the others are raking and covered with pantiles. The windows are mainly 18th-century cross-casements. There is a 20th-century lean-to entrance porch that is timber-framed and pantiled, with a 19th-century boarded inner door. The interior has not been examined.
