Description
Dale House is a house, probably from the 17th century, featuring one storey and attics with a three-cell cross-entry plan. It has a timber-framed and plastered structure, originally topped with thatch but now covered with a glazed pantiled roof. The house has an axial chimney, with the shaft rebuilt in 19th century red brick, and an internal end chimney on the right made of 18th century red brick. There are three gabled dormers with 19th century casements, along with two mid-20th century casements and a late 20th century casement featuring leaded lights. The mid-19th century entrance porch is located at the cross-entry position and is made of painted brick with a parapet gable and plain tiled roof. The entrance includes a four-panelled door with an oblong fanlight. Additionally, there is a 19th century pantiled lean-to extension on the left.
