RATTLESDEN HIGH TOWN GREEN, LOUSE TL 95 NE LANE 3/102 Model Farmhouse - - II House, early C17 or earlier. One storey and attics. 3-cell plan with lobby- entrance. Timber-framed and plastered. Thatched roof with one eyebrow casement dormer. An axial chimney, the shaft rebuilt mid C20 in red brick with 4 square shafts diagonally-set. C19/C20 small-pane casements. Boarded door at lobby-entrance position. Interior not examined; the low and wide profile of the house suggests a possible medieval core.
