Description

Cosy Cot, located at No. 40 on Chickering Road in Hoxne, is a house that likely dates back to the 17th century. It features a timber frame and is plastered, topped with a thatched roof. The house is 1 and a half storeys tall and is relatively small, remaining largely unmodernised. It has its gable end facing the road but is set well back from it. The front gable includes two small-paned casement windows and a plank door. There is an internal stack, but the interior has not been examined.
