Description

No. 31 High Street is a house, probably dating from the 17th century. It has a timber frame and is plastered, topped with a thatched roof. The building is 1½ storeys high and has a small two-cell layout. There are various casement windows, mostly old, and the gable end facing the road features two cross windows. Each gable end has an old plank door. Inside, there is an internal stack with a plain red brick shaft. To the north, there is a small lean-to that is plastered and has a pantiled roof. The property is included for its group value.
