Description

Nos 39 and 39A, Upper Brook Street, are an early 19th-century building with a brick front, now painted, that likely incorporates an earlier structure. The facade features a parapet and a stucco cornice. It is two storeys high with a three-window arrangement. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars set in plain reveals. A recessed brick panel is above a central carriageway, where the central window is located. A two-storey wing with a three-window range extends to the east at the rear. Nos 37, 39 and 39A, the Coach and Horses Hotel and No 43 form a group.
