Description
Nos. 37, 39, and 39A on Head Street is a timber-framed and plastered house featuring a late 18th-century red brick front. The building has a central semi-circular Doric porch and a two-storey bow window above. It stands three storeys high with cellars, and the roofs are tiled and hipped. The façade includes a five-window range with 19th-century double-hung sash windows set in plain reveals. A parapet extends around the central bow, complemented by a moulded band below. No. 37 includes a ground floor shop with an arched wooden architrave.
