No 21 on Head Street is originally an early 16th-century house that has been significantly altered to serve as a baker's shop and restaurant. The building has two storeys, is timber-framed and plastered, and features tiled roofs. The upper storey projects on the east front and north side, supported by a heavy curved angle bracket. On the north side, there is an original moulded bressumer and curved brackets with attached shafts that have moulded capitals.
