Description

Nos 20 and 20A on Upper Brook Street are 18th-century buildings featuring a purple brick facade with red brick dressings, a parapet, and a brick cornice. The structure rises three storeys and has a total of seven windows arranged in a 4:3 pattern. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars set in cased frames, topped with gauged brick flat arches and red brick recessed aprons on the second storey. A moulded brick band runs between the storeys, and there is one contemporary rainwater head. The ground storey contains 20th-century shops, and the roof is covered with slate.
