Description

Nos 26 and 26A on Queen Street are 18th-century buildings constructed of painted brick, with the south wall rendered and the rear tile hung. They feature a tiled roof and stand two storeys tall with an attic dormer. The front has three sash windows, with the southern two on the first floor having glazing bars. There is a two-storey canted bay on the northern side, and a small 19th-century shop window with corner twisted columns at the angles of the bay. The doorway is distinctive, featuring similar engaged columns and a flat bracketed hood above.
