Description

Nos 16 and 17 on St Thomas's Street are 18th-century buildings. No 16 has a brick facade, while No 17 is stuccoed. Both have tiled roofs, with No 16 featuring a gable facing the street and No 17 having a half-hipped roof. They are three storeys tall and have a total of two windows. No 16 has a bow window on the first floor and a late 18th century or early 19th century casement window above. No 17 has a canted three-light bay window on the first and second floors, with sash windows that include glazing bars. The shop fronts are modern, with No 16's front being a reproduction of an 18th-century style. Nos 16 to 18a form a group.
