Description
Heathcote House is an 18th-century building on the north side of St Thomas’s Street. The facade is rendered in colour-washed stucco and features a cornice and parapet. Pilasters flank the front elevation. The roof is hipped and now covered with modern tiles. The building is two storeys high with an attic containing one dormer window. There are five windows, all unbarred sash windows with flush frames; the central bay projects slightly. A doorway is flanked by pilasters and has a projecting cornice and a rectangular fanlight. The door is six-panelled, with the top four panels now glazed. Heathcote House is part of a group which includes numbers 28 to 37 on the street.
