Description
This is a late 17th-century building, later restored in 1911. It is constructed of red brick with a wooden eaves cornice featuring modillions, and has a tiled roof. The building presents a symmetrical appearance, with a central section of four windows and four dormers, flanked by two projecting wings that are of higher elevation, each with three windows and one dormer. The ground floor of the central section incorporates two modern bays, two doorways with pediments, and semi-circular fanlights above. A tablet records the 1911 restoration work.
Quadrille Court, along with Monmouth House, its gate with overthrow, and the surrounding boundary wall and gate, form a group with numbers 39 to 43 (inclusive) and number 46, a building of local interest, on the opposite side of the road.
