Description
Southend House is an early 18th-century building constructed of red brick, featuring a cornice and parapet. It stands three storeys tall with three windows on the west side and two on the south side. The centre window bay on the west front projects, with the central window flanked by narrow windows; the top floor windows are blank while the others are glazed. The entrance has pilasters, a pediment, a semi-circular fanlight, and a door with six fielded panels, accessed by three steps. Southend House, along with Nos 1 to 11 (odd), No 15, the wall, gate piers, and street lamp, forms a group with the wall and barn, and the three warehouses opposite.
