Description
Nos 61 and 62 High Street are early 19th-century buildings constructed of red brick. They feature a cornice and parapet, with the lintels and parapet being stuccoed. The roof is not visible. The buildings stand three storeys high and have three windows facing High Street and three on the return to Church Street, with sash windows that include glazing bars. The shop front was altered in the late 19th or early 20th century. These buildings occupy an important corner position and are part of a group that includes Nos 55 to 62.
