Description
Nos 56 and 57 on High Street are 18th century buildings that have been partly refronted in the 19th century. They feature a red brick facade with pilasters that are rusticated on the outer sides and a panelled parapet above the cornice. The buildings are three storeys high and have three windows with later sash designs that include keystones. The ground floor has a modern shop front and there is a carriage arch at the rear. Nos 55 to 62, which are consecutive, form a group with these buildings.
