Description

Courtyard House, located at No. 59 on the south side of High Street, is an early 18th-century building featuring a stucco facade and a steeply pitched tiled roof. It has two storeys and an attic, which includes two hipped dormers. The building has four sash windows with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is a curved bay window with its glazing bars intact, a single doorway to the west of the bay, and a triple doorway to the east, which is covered by a hood supported on four iron brackets. Courtyard House is part of a group that includes Nos 55 to 62, which are consecutive.
