Description
This is a cast iron lamp standard located at the north corner of Church Lane House, dating from the 19th to early 20th century. It features a fluted base and Art Nouveau floral decoration. The lamp is square with a cap and finial. This lamp standard is part of a group that includes Church Lane House, its walls and gate piers, as well as Nos 14 to 28 (even) and Nos 34 and 36 with their garden wall, forming a cohesive architectural ensemble with the wall opposite Serampore Place, the walls to No 35, and the bungalow.
