Description
No. 6 Soane Street is an early 19th-century brick house that has been painted. It is two storeys high and features a three-window range. The first storey has double-hung sash windows with vertical glazing bars, while the ground storey has 20th-century plain glass windows. The central doorway has a recessed semi-circular arched head. The roof is slate, and there is a paired bracketed eaves cornice. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 2 to 8 (even), No. 1 (Lodge to Christchurch Mansion), the Entrance Wall and Gates to Christchurch Park, and the Brick Wall to St Margaret's Churchyard, along with Nos. 56 and 58 (Cafe Blanchfleur) on St Margaret's Street.
