Description
The Lodge to Christchurch Mansion is a late 19th century or early 20th century red brick building featuring purple brick diapering. The front of the lodge projects forward and is topped with a Dutch gable. It is connected to the entrance wall, side gateway, and piers of Christchurch Park. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars in the upper sashes. On the ground floor, there is a three-light bay window. The roof is tiled. This lodge, along with Nos 2 to 8 (even), the entrance wall and gates to Christchurch Park, and the brick wall to St Margaret's Churchyard, forms a group with Nos 56 and 58 (Cafe Blanchfleur) on St Margaret's Street.
