No. 11 St Margaret's Plain is an attractive 18th-century red brick house featuring a parapet and a moulded brick cornice. The building has two storeys and attics, with a three-window range that includes three-light windows with double-hung sashes and glazing bars, all set in flush cased frames. The central window is blocked. A central six-panel door is topped with a plain rectangular fanlight and framed by a wood doorcase with panelled pilasters and a pediment supported by console brackets. The front also has a contemporary rainwater head. The roof is tiled and has a mansard style with two flat-headed dormers. This house, along with Bethesda Baptist Church and Nos 9 and 11, forms a group with Nos 5 to 27 (odd) Fonnereau Road.
