Description

No 9 St Margaret's Plain is an early 19th century house made of grey gault brick. It has three storeys and features a two-window range with double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars, set in plain reveals with gauged brick flat arches above them. The entrance includes a six-panel door topped by a plain rectangular fanlight, framed by a wooden doorcase with pilasters, a cornice, and panelled reveals. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. This building, along with Bethesda Baptist Church and Nos 9 and 11, is part of a group that includes Nos 5 to 27 (odd) on Fonnereau Road.
