Description

Nos. 17 and 19 Neale Street is an early 19th century house built of grey gault brick. Although numbered on Neale Street, the house visually belongs to Fonnereau Road. It is two storeys high with a four-window front. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, set in plain reveals and topped with stucco cornice lintels. The central windows are paired, and are flanked by two-storey brick bows, each containing a single window. The central paired doors have stucco architraves and cornices. The east front features two two-storey, three-light bays. A rear wing is constructed of red and grey gault brick and has a two-window range. The roof is slate. Nos. 17 and 19 are grouped with Nos. 31 and 33 Fonnereau Road.
