Description
No 45, also known as the YWCA, is an early 19th century house built of grey gault brick. It is now part of the YWCA and is connected to No 43 by a 20th century grey brick wing. The building has two storeys and features a four-window range. The first-storey windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, set in plain reveals and topped with stucco lintels on brackets. The ground storey includes a stone three-light bay window. The entrance has a four-panel door with a segmental-headed plain fanlight and a moulded stucco architrave. A moulded stucco band runs along the level of the first-storey window sills. The roof is covered with slate. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 43 to 47 (odd).
