UGGESHALL TM 48 SE 4/64 Barn 20m. west of Whitehouse Farmhouse

Barn. Late C17/early C18. Timber framed and weatherboarded, thatched roof. 5 bays, with a central gabled porch on the north side. The 2 westernmost bays are partitioned off from the remainder. The frame has straight bracing with bisected studs; the 4 open trusses retain their arched braces. The roof has 2 rows of staggered butt purlins and a ridge piece.
