Description
Pitman's Grove is a house dating from the early 17th century. It has two storeys and features a two-cell lobby-entrance plan. The structure is timber-framed and roughcast, with an old plain tile roof. Inside, there is an internal chimney stack with a plain rebuilt shaft made of Tudor bricks. The exterior includes two 3-light 19th-century casement windows on each storey, each with a transom and a single bar to the lights. A plank door is located to one side. Inside, plain timbering and main beams are exposed, and there is a newel stair beside the stack, along with a side-purlin roof.
