Description
Lodge Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse with an L-shaped plan. It is constructed of red brick and has a plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys high with an attic. The main facade is symmetrical, featuring three bays arranged in a 1:1:1 pattern, with the central bay set forward and gabled. On either side of the central bay are four-light casement windows with segmental arches and two gabled dormers. The central bay also includes a pointed arch attic window with Y tracery and a brick porch that has a pointed arch opening. The entrance features a six-panel fielded door, with the upper two panels being glazed. All the gables have corbelled eaves and octagonal pinnacles with moulded bases and caps. The central entrance gable is topped with an apex pinnacle, while the main gables have integral axial stacks.
