Description

Nos. 84 and 83 on Market Hill are a pair of cottages dating from the late 17th century. They are constructed with a timber frame and pebble dash, topped with a plain tiled roof. The cottages are one storey high with an attic and feature three windows, which are casements with glazing bars. There are also three dormers with flat roofs and casements. The left-hand door is a plank door set in a plain frame, while the main entrance door is adorned with fluted pilasters and a moulded canopy. A brick stack is located on the ridge of the roof.
